Bookings · Public flow

The public flow is the customer experience when they open the booking link. It’s designed to reduce friction and avoid scheduling errors.

Steps in the flow

  1. Service: customer chooses what they need.
  2. Professional (optional): choose who will deliver the service.
  3. Date: available days are shown.
  4. Time: available time slots follow rules and capacity.
  5. Details: name, phone, email.
  6. Confirmation: booking is created and notifications are sent.

Availability and rules

  • Respects business hours and staff schedules.
  • Applies buffer times before/after if configured.
  • Supports different service durations.
  • Prevents overlaps unless walk-in is enabled.

Walk-in / Overbook

If walk-in is enabled, customers can request to be served “now”. In that case:

  • Start time is assigned immediately (rounded to 5 minutes).
  • Date/time steps are skipped.
  • Booking is marked as overbooked for traceability.

Tips

  • Use clear descriptions and photos for services.
  • Set minimum lead time to prevent last-minute chaos.
  • Enable auto-confirmation for simple operations.
