Bookings · Public flow
The public flow is the customer experience when they open the booking link. It’s designed to reduce friction and avoid scheduling errors.
Steps in the flow
- Service: customer chooses what they need.
- Professional (optional): choose who will deliver the service.
- Date: available days are shown.
- Time: available time slots follow rules and capacity.
- Details: name, phone, email.
- Confirmation: booking is created and notifications are sent.
Availability and rules
- Respects business hours and staff schedules.
- Applies buffer times before/after if configured.
- Supports different service durations.
- Prevents overlaps unless walk-in is enabled.
Walk-in / Overbook
If walk-in is enabled, customers can request to be served “now”. In that case:
- Start time is assigned immediately (rounded to 5 minutes).
- Date/time steps are skipped.
- Booking is marked as overbooked for traceability.
Tips
- Use clear descriptions and photos for services.
- Set minimum lead time to prevent last-minute chaos.
- Enable auto-confirmation for simple operations.
